Operational
Business Assessment:
Understanding a company’s strengths in detail will determine adjustments needed to implement strategies successfully.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Rigorous budgeting and forecasting clarifies the near term and serves as a springboard into strategic planning.
Value-Add Finance:
Finance is conservative and compliance focused, but it should play offense as well as it plays defense. Finance should be empowered to deliver high value-add information that supports strategy.
Strategic
Vision Review:
A company’s vision statement identifies its long term goals. If a company’s vision statement is absent or unclear, its planning process will default to being short term and tactical.
Strategic Planning:
Strategic plans operationalize vision statements. Without a strategic plan, a company will lack metrics to gauge performance and risk losing sight of its vision.
Fractional CFO:
Fractional CFO’s are strategic resources who optimize Finance functions and elevate their value-add within organizations.
Major Projects
Turnaround Support:
Resources who have extensive experience managing strategy, optimizing revenues, streamlining operations and reducing overheads make turnarounds more successful.
Post Acquisition Support:
Comprehensive onboarding processes ensure strategic alignment and early ROI.
ERP Implementations:
When companies fail to do enough internal due diligence prior to selecting and implementing an ERP, the result will be a system that doesn’t meet its requirements.
Focused and reflective. An approach that recognizes challenges to growth for smaller businesses.
Leaders can immerse themselves in daily details at the expense of their visions. When this is the case, navigating toward longer term goals will be more difficult. Planning will prioritize tactics over strategy. Strategic planning, managing project funnels and establishing systems of accountability are challenging. We understand this intimately and offer our experience and bandwidth to assist clients to complete these critical initiatives.
Companies may de-emphasize core competencies to pursue home run growth strategies. Here, the risk of losing existing customers and market share is high. Enduring organizations strive for consistency and organic growth. Stakeholders look for steady returns, and healthy balance sheets allow businesses to plan non-adjacent investments. Prioritizing singles and doubles is one of the best ways a business can de-risk itself and stay aligned with its vision. We help clients to clarify their core strengths and leverage them to achieve strong incremental growth. Our approach is phased and contextual to your business.
